So I assume that the browser plugin enables viewing PDFs without downloading them. Despite the fact I have the Firefox Pi enabled and any other PDF Pi disabled Ff has always just downloaded the PDF. What am I doing wrong? Thank you!

I'm not sure, because STDU Viewer is really great and light, too.

Sumatra PDF's most spectacular feature is easily overlooked: You don't have to choose between the hand tool and the selection tool - it can do both at the same time, depending on where you click in the document.

Thanks for update brainrb1 :)
Hope you don't mind me adding it here, but just found this interesting article about Sumatra, albeit over 2 weeks old: "Defending against malicious PDFs with Sumatra PDF" : http://blogs.computerworld.com/18570/defending_against_malicious_pdfs_with_sumatrapdf

Posted this on another forum but nobody answered.
I'm using Sumatra for some time now, mostly because its small size, and great startup speed, but does anyone else experience the loooooong delays when scrolling through a fairly small 60MB pdf file ?
I'm constantly seeing the blank page with "Please wait - rendering ..." sometimes up to 5 seconds to only go 2 pages down.
I'm using a 2core 2.3Ghz cpu but reading PDF files in Sumatra feels like an i486 70Mhz

I recently changed from Foxit to Sumatra, because to me Foxit is starting to embody all the things I hated about the product I replaced it with in the first place (Adobe). This is unfortunately an all too frequent story, when "the little guy" gets bigger.
When I check for updates it says I have the latest version though, even though I'm running 1.6. I never go looking for updates, I wait until they're available by checking in the product itself. Wonder how long it will take?
Best PDF reader I've ever used, btw.

I tried to open the Links inside an AV-Comparatives Report (http://www.av-comparatives.org/en/comparativesreviews/retrospective-test)(.pdf file),
and it does Not open them (as expected).
