The article says -

Perhaps the toolbar and homepage checkmarks were missing at the time of the article (earlier this morning), but now they’re there. I omitted, no toolbar and no homepage change. Bundling is nothing unusual these days, personally I have no problem with it.
Also, the term “malware” is a bit too harsh, even if the changes were silently applied.
