Thanks. Just downloaded Norton AV.
I'll disable MSE real time protection for the trial period (and then go back to it... or maybe there will be a NAV 2012 trial).

Isn't it always best to remove your previous AV and then reinstall it after the trial is over?

I've done it before with other AVs. When MSE's real time protection is off I never feel conflicts/slow downs.

I really don't like betas, nor even RCs. Rather wait for the final version.

Sometimes it feels like Norton's promos last for only 10 minutes before they end it. :argh:

Their BETA or much better RC are stable enough so that it can be used in real machines, but in any cases its personal choice:P
