Even (especially) for a closed beta there needs to be a place for beta testers to exchange comments, suggestions, bug indications, workarounds, questions. Can you open a restricted access subforum here for the closed beta testers?

At the moment we're just using the support inbox for one-on-one support and there is no support forum. It does mean that we'll be answering the same questions for each user but this is so that we can learn what we should change to make it easier to use. As soon as we release the open beta, we'll be allowing public posting.

(As a side note to that - sorry for hiding everyone's posts :-[ I was asleep when the release notice went out and unfortunately couldn't make the post beforehand)

No problem with the submission form for submitting to Webroot, but even (especially) closed beta testers need to communicate with each other also. At least for the other closed betas I support it is essential to compare/validate results and observations.

Thanks for clarifying - I was unsure whether to ask "stupid" questions or make what could be classed as not-particularly-useful comments via the support inbox.

Yes, it would be nice if a special closed beta forum could be opened.

One issue with the closed beta form is selecting which product the feedback relates to. Webroot SA isn't listed; all previous Prevx products are though. At present, one can only choose 'Other'.

I have some feedback on a possible bug I have experienced. It could be expected behavior, but if it is it caused me problems that could have easily been avoided. I will send the feedback from within Secure Anywhere. The only problem is that upon discovering this problem it made me aware of a bug with another security App that I have. I need to post screen shots, and a description of the problem in the AppGuard thread. Is this breaking any beta testing rules?

I'd probably prefer that you didn't at this point, especially as they wouldn't be able to get a copy to test with. However, once we open it up for general beta availability, you can certainly report it at that point.

Ok, Thanks for your prompt response on this matter!

The one-on-one support needs tweaking.

I sent a message to support & once it was replied, there was no way for me to response or continue with the existing conversation (will have to start a new conversation).

@smith2006: Clicking on "start new conversation" while reading in the present conversation will add whatever message you send to be added to the current one. Kinda confusing, but I've sent 4 messages after reading their response my current reply was added, and they're quick to get back!

Well I have generated a bit of a backlog, but not unexpected. They have done well on answering questions; the bug reports I submitted might take a little longer . ;) Even sent them some screenshots with no problems. But I agree the lack of a simple "reply" capability is something that needs to be fixed.

If you wrote them before with your email address and - only - if you enter (on right side!) your old password then you will be able to continue your conversation. It's kind of odd but once you understand this also quite simple. ;)

I currently have multiple conversations with multiple responses interspersed, without a simple obvious way to respond to and follow them and make threads. But if the closed beta doesn't go on for very long it shouldn't matter, and the current quality certainly supports having an open beta very soon.

I have to agree the quality good.

That's good that the quality has been good. I've submitted some stuff last night and will continue to. ;)

They are still plugging along. I am down to 3 submissions (from yesterday ~4pm PDT) that have not been acknowledged with at least a "we will take a look at it", although they have responded to some later ones that way.
UPDATE: Note now 2-looks like they are fixing the FPs I send them.

That's not a forum, that is just a submission tool with no view of issues raised.

Just a quick question will the prevx forum be removed from wilders coz Webroot do have their forums -https://forums.webroot.com/- (Hope its not off topic coz I didn't feel need to open a seperate thread) ;)

That forum is ONLY for the Android app that's specific to Webroot. Nothing that I saw was even in any reference to WSA.
