SpywareBlaster won't install

I was recently advised to get SpywareBlaster and Spyware Guard since it just got rid of the about:blank hijacker. i cannot get blaster to install correctly. When its done installing i get an error saying the program cannot run because of a bad sector on the disk or a virus. Spyware Guard installed just fine. I've had no other problems with any software. I did a checkdisk and a scandisk and nothing says nothing is wrong with my drive. I've scanned my computer for viruses and have come up nil. Can anyone help ? ???
