I believe this has been mentioned by someone here, but I cannot find the thread or if it was mentioned in some thread.
I think someone mentioned to be using an Admin. account (UAC) enabled and AppLocker. No other user account; specially standard user account.
I personally do not follow this approach, because I use a standard user account (AppLocker enabled).
But, I was explaining the benefits of having AppLocker enabled to a friend, also within the context of a standard user account, which unfortunately my friendly isn't so keen of. So, that leaves Admin. (UAC enabled) + AppLocker.
My question is: What sort of issues have you folks ever encountered using this approach? As I mentioned, I never tried it and therefore I don't know what could happen, at some point... I also cannot find the thread where I've seen it mentioned. Perhaps, it wasn't even at this forum... :-\
I'm going through some documentation and see if I can see anything, but if you already are using this approach, what's been your experience with it?
Any feedback is welcome. :thumb:
Thanks

In the meantime, I did enable AppLocker. I first audited the rules, instead of enforcing them. All was OK. I just hope that AppLocker won't come with its weird moments. ;D
