cannot access router with eset5 beta 5

hello
i could not access my router(192.168.1.1) with eset beta 5 installed.
i reinstalled 4.2.71.2 and now i can.
any ideas?

i no longer have eset beta 5 installed,so i am not sure about getting any logs regarding the problem.

i forgot to add that i could not restart my pc or shut it down by clicking on the start menu.
i had to push and hold the power button to turn it off.
I am not sure if this was related to eset beta 5 also.
