If I have OA++ and MAMUTU will the HIPS in NOD32 AV get in a way?

Ok So I have Online Armour++ and Mamutu on my pc along with Nod32 AV v4 now I want to test out V5 the problem is:
Will the OA HIPS get in a way or enhance the protection? (aka will I be in popup hell?)

Is the HIPS behavioral like MAMUTU or procedural like OA?

You can disable the HIPS in NOD32 very easily.

yeah but I would like to test out the feature so I was wondering if anyone has tried it with both hips on and mainly what kind of hips is nod32 using.

Then you will have two realtime scanning(Eset and OA++) 1 Behaviour blocker(mamutu) and 2 HIPS(OA++ and ESET.) I don't think the chances of so many things running together and being compatible are high, and even if it would work without issues, your PC won't be that fast anymore.

oops sorry I have the OA without the Antimwalware scanner so I guess it's the OA Plus? Or Premuim or whatever they call the Firewall + HIPS package.

As ESET Smart Security v5 has just begun its public beta test cycle, it is not fully understood which other programs it is or is not compatible with—one of the reasons software companies do release beta versions, after all, is to look for interoperability issues which may not have shown up during internal testing.

If that's what you mean by procedural then yes, NOD32 is procedural. It's not an intelligent behaviour blocker like Mamutu or ThreatFire.

I haven't tried the NOD32 HIPS alongside OA, but I am running it in Interactive mode alongside the Comodo Firewall with Defense+ fully enabled, without any conflict or discernible impact on performance. Whilst this doesn't guarantee that it will work with the OA HIPS, it does at least show that the NOD32 HIPS is capable, in principle, of working alongside another HIPS product.

Probably, the best thing would be to try it for yourself because everybody's system is different.

I have tried running OA free with Mamutu w/Avast worked very badly together.
If I get enough time I will try to install your combination in a VM. Personally I think Mamutu is enough protection all by itself. It is very nice as it can be set to allow if enough people think an app is ok so you really don't hear very much from it at all.
