My internet Explorer 8 is not downloading files properly (only gets about 2/3 a file)

Weird problem the last few weeks

I installed Firefox to test a few things

and i don't know if its connected to it but

My Internet Explorer 8 is not downloading files properly (only gets about 2/3 a file) mp3's , rar files, basically anything.

I tried with firefox, everything works.

Why i microsoft doing this to me? :what:

Should i reinstall IE8

Any Ideas whats going on

maybe your AV/FW is interfering somehow. Did you check its setting/logs?
