Was looking at BootIt Bare Metal on http://www.terabyteunlimited.com when i noticed EMBRLock

-{ Quote: "This utility will protect the EMBR area on hard drives in the system against the few ill-behaved Windows programs which unnecessarily modify physical sectors on the hard drive -- most using C_DILLA. A list of known programs is contained in the readme.txt file included with EMBRLock. If you don't have a problem then there is no need to use this utility.

I know it's not new ;) but wondered if it might offer some protection ?

Interesting, but it looks quite old. So it blocks MBR from modification?

But if it's useful it doesn't matter ;) Hopefully some members could try it :thumb: :)

Well the Extended MBR anyway. So combined with an MBR blocker, together i was thinking they "could" be worth having.
