Is there one that really works out of the box?
Tried NoAds and NoAds Fixed but no success. ???

As far as I know, no. I tried Fanboy's adblock list for Opera's internal blocker but it broke way too many pages.

There should be no need for such lists as Opera is now supporting extensions.

Well, you'd think so ... personally I have not been overly impressed by Opera's extensions. The adblocker in their repository definitely doesn't work properly.

The current crop of adblocking extensions for Opera are, sadly, crap. There's a content blocking API being worked on in the 11.10 beta/snapshots, but urlfilter.ini is probably still your best bet until then.

Well, the way things are going with their extensions they aren't going to improve their user base. ;D
Even Safari's (for Windows) extensions work properly & Safari isn't the most problem free browser on Windows IMHO.
I used to use Opera's content blocker on individual websites but eventually I just started using browsers with decent adblockers.
