View Full Version : I uninstalled AVG Linkscanner and its still there.

It said it uninstalled but that blasted thing is still on my PC and it still runs!!!! How can I get rid of this?

Got rid of it using system restore. BLEH NEVER touching an AVG program AGAIN.

Download and run the AVG Remover and it "may" cleanup the AVG Linkscanner.

If the AVG Remover does not work, you could download and install the AVG Antivirus version which contains AVG LinkScanner and then uninstall it and followup with a cleanup operation with the AVG Remover. Note: Make sure that you do not have two Antivirus Products running at the same time with "active" protection.
