Hello, after a few days downloading software exes, I discovered that nod32krn scans my downloads when they are almost complete, this is a problem because with big files around 650 mb, this process takes about 5 minutes long.

I know that maybe its a security process, but I want to know how to disable this, its a little weird because they are the only files that It scans.

Eset uses Advanced Heuristics to scan all incoming files ( downloading from internet, files from removable drives etc) to make sure it doesnt have any type of malicious behavior. This is normal process. You shouldnot disable that feature because no AV can detect malwares only with signatures..

Its a game mod.

nikanthpromod,

The problem is when NOD starts to scan a exe file, my browser freezes until Nod ends the scanning, so a 650MB exe is about five minutes.

I dont any problems with video files or music files.

And I see is a big problem

this is why its taking time to scan executables and archives like zip rar files...
AH is enabled when a file is downloaded or transferred from internet or removable medias.
Hope this helps;)

Perhaps you should set specific scanning limits to lower values:
Press F5 >>> Web/Internet protection >>> ThreatSense Engine Parameters Setup >>> Limits

Video or music files normally dont have integrated code

Install the latest version 4.2.67 and set a reasonable size limit for scanned objects to prevent larger archives from being scanned during download.
