As the title says, this piece of crap software changed the name of my C: drive in windows to "Allway sync n go (c:)"
Does anyone know WHY it would change it when the software is SUPPOSED to be PORTABLE and not install locally?
I notice two files in my root c: drive that may have caused it:
First, autorun.inf with contents:
[autorun]
open=AllwaySync'n'Go.exe -autorun
icon="\Users\John\Desktop\Allway Sync 'n' Go\Bin\syncappw.exe"
action=Launch Allway Sync 'n' Go
label=Allway Sync 'n' Go
Second one is allwaysyncngo.ini with contents:
..\Users\John\Desktop\Allway Sync 'n' Go
I removed both files but it doesn't change the name of my c: drive back to what it was..which i don't even remember the name. Also, the icon for my c: drive in windows explorer is no longer a computer icon, it's just one of those broken page icons that you see when no icon is present.
Can anyone help me figure out why this happened or how I can rename my c: and restore the icon back?
