I have a windows 7 pc with a printer attached. I also have a laptop with ubuntu. I am having problems getting the printer to work using ubuntu. I get to the point that it asks for a password and I do not have a password. How can I get past this?

I'm guessing you need to add yourself to the "lpadmin" group - http://www.liberiangeek.net/2010/09/beginner-add-user-group-ubuntu-10-0410-10-maverick-meerkat/
