I'm looking for a antivirus program for older computers like old Pentium and Pentium 2 computers. I tried running F-Secure on one Pentium 2 computer, but it slowed down the computer way too much.
Now I'm on look for a less resource hoggy AV program. Can anyone give me any recommendations?
If it's free even better. :)

COMMERCIAL lightweight AV programs for the 'older' computer include;
1. F-Prot for Windows - http://www.f-prot.com/products/home_use/win/
2. Dr Web - http://www.dials.ru/english/dsav_toolkit/drweb32.htm
3. NOD32 - http://www.nod32.com/products/products.htm
4. AVP 3.5 - http://www.avp.ch/E/download.htm
5. Command AntiVirus- http://www.authentium.com/solutions/products/commandantivirus.cfm
I have used all 5 as primary scanners on Pentium II boxes with no slowdown whatsoever. Any of these will give you good protection WITHOUT slowing you down.

F-Secure is quite demanding and in general anything with the Kaspersky engine will slow down your Pentium II boxes ( except AVP 3.5 ).
Anything lower than a pentium II will restrict you even further, particularly if the RAM is also very low. In my experience your best bet here would be F-Prot for Windows, AntiVir or Etrust.
Alternatively, on these very old boxes if you have very low memory, think about only running the ON-DEMAND scanner of the AV, and not the running guard.
