Will there be wardriving for TV's?
In addition to the standard wifi cracking tools what other software would be needed?
They will be easy to spot by driving around the neighborhood after Christmas looking for the LCD boxes in the trash.

MY bigger concern would be that if someone saw the LCD boxes in the trash that they would come back to steal your TV. Given the current economy I would think that more likely than someone coming to try to crack your Wifi.

eh what? I think there's some misunderstanding - me or OP...
The TV is a wifi client, if you wardrive you are usually interested in the router to get free internet.
Or do you mean sniffing? Probably facebook logins and stuff depending on whatever "apps" they'll release for your TV 2.0 It's either using good crypto with a strong passphrase or not. Really nothing special or anything different from your usual other wifi enabled gadgets and laptops.
