corrupted Win7 folder icons

After resizing a logical drive with HDM2010 - the process seemed to work OK - I find that the folder icons have been changed or corrupted, appearing as page or file icons, rather than as folders. Checks on the drive (Windows and Paragon) report it as healthy, and it still shows as having 12gb space used - which suggests that image files in the folders are OK.

Win 7 chkdsk picks up no file system errors or bad sectors.

Any suggestions as to how to restore the Windows folder icons?
