I have always liked this firewall. Did they fix the I/O issue? I remember the last time using it the harddrive was getting thrashed.

This actually sounds really nice, if I remember correctly its still based upon the VirusBuster (not F-Prot)

Interesting but can someone explain the differences between paid and free (whoever made this cryptic graphical comparison needs to put some type of explanation - i.e., what is the difference between 1, 2, and 3 stars in plain, simple terms):

it seems a very crippled free edition of an average firewall/hips that is outpost, whatever those few starts means it lacks the support and important features present in many other free security applications :-X

Not a bad firewall/hips but for the people that complain about Comodo's cryptic popups, they should have a look at some of these. They have toned down the disk writes somewhat but I'd rather use what I'm using currently.

why would anyone really want this? Isn't it better to just use the Outpost free firewall, the Spam Terrier freebie (if you are dying for that particular product) and a different antivirus?

well languy99 has done a bit of testing on this and results isn't good considering the fact that you have excellent freeware av's/fw floating around......
I think, simply based on languy's review,we need it to develop into something more tougher...
