View Full Version : They are ruining Ccleaner

Ccleaner has gone the way of others that have gotten to big for their britches.
They are now cramming the Google Browser down
our throats. 1st I don't like any company telling me what to do on my puter. Everything should be elective. I use K-meleon and am quite happy with it.
So now I will have to start looking for another
program or do it by hand like I used to do.
Pity....

Thanks for the address. I couldn't find it on the regular Piriform site.

Not really "cramming the Google Browser down our throats", more offering it as an installation option. I don't mind things like this when it comes to freeware, especially great freeware as CCleaner is.

Naturally, I bypass this altogether and use the slim installer (as mentioned above).

Alternatives for Ccleaner:

ATF Cleaner
Temp File Cleaner

Both have been recommended at malware cleaning forums.

I always use the portable...even on my towe system. Less registry garbage/frag to clean.
