Try DU meter (http://www.hageltech.com/dumeter/about). This is one of the best out there.

I'm gonna try this one. Be forewarned, their server is slow and doesn't support resuming, so a download manager is useless. Took me about 4-1/2 minutes (on DSL) to get the 1699K installer, which should take maybe 5-6 seconds from a good server.
