Shouldn't File Finder show all 3 mentioned hashes if a program is known?
F.i. 'portmon.exe' from the SysinternalsSuite is known for MD5 but not SHA1 or SHA256.
No biggie but I would expect it to 'know' such exe also if I use SHA1.
An unsuspecting user might question a file when there is no need too, even according to the File Finder database.

Some malware pages list just an MD5 hash, while other pages have other hashes in addition to MD5. I've also read that the pages are being regenerated, so perhaps additional hashes will appear in the future. In any event, maybe it's best to use MD5 for now.
