I have Firefox 3.6.7 running under 64-bit Win 7 Professional.

A week or so ago the little coloured security markers that Finjan Secure Browsing produces disappeared from my Google searches. Finjan was still recorded as present and active in the Firefox addons list. A bit of googling gave me a link (https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=64869.0) that suggested that Finjan does not support recent versions of Firefox. I uninstalled Finjan and tried to reinstall Ver 1.314. My Firefox said that it was incompatible with Firefox.

Further searching failed to find anything else on the subject. Has anyone any further information?

AFAIK, Finjan Secure Browsing is no longer being supported. Finjan has been acquired (http://www.m86security.com/press_room/finjan-acquisition-coverage.asp) and new company does not provide it.

If you type/enter www.finjan.com you'll get http://www.m86security.com/

you should change your browsing behaviour, deactivate potential securitiy holes
like JAVA, PDF_in_browser, maybe also flash - restrict javascript, kill ads.
and - dont surf as admin!

# thx for explanation - sold...
