Hi
I have ESET ANTIVIRUS 4.2 installed in my pc with a original username/password.
But my Eset version is: 4.2.58.3
And the last Eset version is: 4.2.64
Why my Eset stills in Version 4.2.58.3?

-{ Quote: "Lol? Nice software :S..." }-What do you expect?
A self-upgrading software might be looked upon as a nice feature by an individual user.
If you are responsible for the welfare of several hundreds (or thousands) of client and server installations a "self-upgrading" software quickly becomes an absolute nightmare!
I do concur, however, that ESET could be more forthcoming with information about new PCUs. Now, we have to regularly poll their web site for information about the most recent releases.
Personally I would prefer ESET to inform users with administrator privileges of available PCUs. This feature should of course be customizable through ERA-policies.

Yep, I agree. Acrobat, Flash, Photoshop etc all notify when new versions are available.
How about an email alert from ERAC/ERAS, the same as we get when new clients join the network? That would be useful.
ESET - please consider this request.

What is the difference between a Virus Signature Database update and a Program Component Update (PCU)? (http://kb.eset.com/esetkb/index?page=content&id=SOLN2256)
-{ Quote: "Virus Signature Database and module updates:
Your ESET security product downloads Virus Signature Database updates daily. These updates ensure that you are protected against the latest known threats that could potentially harm your machine. The updates consist of the latest released malware signatures which are added to your product's database. The update is an incremental update, meaning it is only necessary to download the new virus signatures, as opposed to the entire database. Also released with virus signature database updates is an occasional module update. A module update is the latest version of a part of your ESET security product's architecture. " }- -{ Quote: " Program Component Update (PCU):
Separate from a virus signature database update and module update is a Program Component Update (PCU). A PCU is the latest complete version of the ESET security product. These are rarely pushed to customers like a virus signature database update or module update but can be found at the ESET Download page. Refer to the following Knowledgebase article if you receive a notification informing you of an automatic PCU " }-
