The United States has been lagging behind in residential broadband internet speeds for some time now. The United States is not even ranked in the top ten for average residential Download or Upload speeds. Maybe the country should have used some of those Billions of dollars in Stimulus money, and invested in the infrastructure of the country or maybe big brother is hogging all the bandwidth >:(
