I have Avast 5 Free, Windows Defender, Online Armor Paid, browse in Sandboxie and am not an idiot. Thank You!

Also, G Data has a special tool, as well. Seems better than the Sophos one.

Sophos tool doesn't check anything already on the hard drive(s), but G Data does.

Using G-Data tool user can accidentaly trigger exploit... there's too much buzz arround this subject, i'm not installing anything else but waiting for MS fix on Monday.

If you are concerned do what I did.

Install the MS patch and calmly wait for their permanent fix.

The lnk vulnerability is primarily just a trigger. I elaborate here:

After reading, you could infer how other products also can defeat lnk attacks.
