I have installed NTFS for Mac, and would like to partition/format a hard drive. But when I launch Disk Utilities, there is no option for NTFS, only "MS-DOS File System".
The command-line utility (diskutil) does have an "UFSD_NTFS" and "UFSD_COMPR" available as valid filesystems.
Should these filesystems show up in the Disk Utilities program, or is the command-line the only way to partition drives?
Thanks!
