I'm using XP Pro, Cable Modem. I do have Norton 2004 Firewall installed. Like both to work. Norton pop once for Nod32 to permit all is set. If I turn off norton all is ok. Is there another program to add or setting for Norton firewall. Please Reply.

Hi cpeter
Is it the live update that is not working? Check you rule for NOD, it should be configured as follows:
Personal Firewall > Program Control > nod32krn.exe > Modify > Manually configure Internet Access > Modify
Action - Permit
Connections to other computers
Any computer (can be restricted to listed servers)
Protocol TCP
Type - remote port 80 (HTTP) (can add local port range 1024-5000)
Tracking - leave blank
Description - NOD32 Live Update HTTP
If this does not work, try deleting any rules for NOD and manually run the live update in order to get NPF to prompt again and then select Manually configure and use the options above.

Thanks I'm good to go. I removed Nod32 trial ver then reinstall it with registered version. Norton firewall pop up. Modify manually nod32krn.exe for internet access. All went well both working.
Thanks
