Hi all,
My Local Area Network icon usually appear soon after Avira umbrella tray icon (Guard) open, But recently I have to wait about 30 second more for the Local Area Network icon to appear after the Avira tray icon open, but I still able to surf the web even the Local Area Network icon haven't appear yet  . Windows Firewall also take longer time to startup.
Anyway to fix this problem? Sorry for my poor English...
Thanks

Use the combination of msconfig (http://vlaurie.com/computers2/Articles/msconfig.htm) and boot-logging (http://www.watchingthenet.com/how-to-enable-boot-logging-for-fixing-startup-problems-in-windows.html) for targeting your bottleneck.
*So long as CC doesn't handle reg-cleaning, I'd drop Avira from the boot test.

And on your part did you venture to remove or disable Avira for a test boot? My first link's the one that really matters.
