Hi everyone, can some one advise? l am using the trial version of NOD32
& when l carry out a full system scan there is an error message stating error opening pagefile.sys (access denied), is this normal? l have never seen this previously using NAV or Avast.
One more question, does NOD32 scan all P2P progs such as Kazza & Win mx etc.
Thanks in advance John11...

Yes, it's normal. it's a windows file that's blocked, so no av can detect but no malware can infect them.

I don't understand your question?, yes, AMON scan every program that you open and also every file that you download from any source. Anyway scan all downloaded files via P2P using advanced heuristic. Use /ah command line.
Thanks in advance John11...
No problem ;)

Hi John11,
Your error message is perfectly normal. Pagefile.sys is used by the operating system and cannot be opened, so don't panic.... everything's cool.
Regarding your 2nd point.... I asked one of my Techno-Geeza-Chums here at Eset his opinion and he said he'd like a little more info about your P2P progs please? Any files downloaded by Kazaa will be (or can be) scanned by NOD32 though, if that helps you.
Regards,
Bandicoot. ;D
