KAV help please, again!

So far KAV isn't playing well with me, which is not good since I am evaluating and trying to decide whether or not to buy this or NOD32.
Anyway, when I try to run the KAV updater, I get this warning that says...cannot obtain contents of update files source folder: /updates/
Why is this happening and how do I fix it?

change the updater setting, avoid using ftp link to update, delete those redundant links, from personal experience the best link to update kaspersky signature are:

http://updates1.kaspersky-labs.com/updates
http://updates2.kaspersky-labs.com/updates
http://updates3.kaspersky-labs.com/updates

Just put the above links for updating, delete the rest links.

One more thing, don't select "Use random URL in list as starting point".......
