I recently installed a new external Western Digital drive, and several hours after installing it i receive a popup from Prevx informing me that i am infect with risk ware. How much of a threat would this be if any?

Please follow the instructions in this post to report possible False Positives: http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=245129 and not in the forums as the Prevx staff does not want them here! http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showpost.php?p=1678435&postcount=8

I'm unable to send Prevx the file due to no being able to access the file. I'm not sure where the file exactly is on the disk. I attempted to access the file by choosing to show hidden files, folders, and drives under the tools menu / Folder options, and the file does not appear. Maybe its hard coded in the memory on the drive. Thanks for the reply Triple Helix! I'll figure something out.

please open prevx, klick scan.
the scan finished, right klick prevx in the tray, select "tools" "safe log" and send this to
report@prevxresearch.com
in the mail text you can ask if this is an fp.
