I am using Windows 7 32-bit with DEP and SEHOP enabled for all processes, plus Avast 5.0 Free, Online-Armor 4.0 Free, Spyware Blaster 4.3, and MVPS HOSTS.

I'm a pretty careful surfer but I worry about drive-by malware, etc., a little.

If you can still add another application..
try Sandboxie. ^^

I actually do own Sandboxie. I like it, but I haven't spent enough time with it to tweak it to let Firefox update all its add-ons and itself easily. Do I have to manually turn off Sandboxie, then update Firefox, the turn back on Sandboxie?

I am adding Emsisoft a-squared Free 4.5...

That will be it for now (hopefully).

Would you all recommend dropping all this freeware for one copy of KIS 2010?

Can i have ask you one question?

Why don't you apply AppLocker Policy? It really helps you out to defend yourself against many Drive-By downloads and other threats in first hand.

AvinashR, do you have a link for AppLocker? Or, is it a series of policy restrictions inside Windows?

Drop FF for Chrome and use Sandboxie. See http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=272374
(I am really trying to be positive of FF, read the facts)

Correct.
And it requires you to configure rules for every app manually through .exe, processes.

I've been using Chrome beta 5 under Sandboxie (of course) lately. I do miss noscript and ABP, but Chrome seems so fast and I love the interface...

You can easily set Chrome to default deny Javascript and Plug-ins, although, unfortunately, the whitelisting includes all scripts found on a given domain. Not a huge deal though.

But, to answer your question, OA and Sandboxie combined is strong. Anything else you use is gravy, don't sweat it.
