cant reinstall

Hello,
during one of the updates to prevx it seemed to get stuck so i left it awhile then restarted and removed it. . i have used the removal tool and i read the messages and the services and drivers have been unregistered. when i try to install prevx it says "please wait until the uninstall has completed before reinstalling prevx"
btw the problem happerned ages ago but i only just remembered so I thought I would post.
any ideas on how i can get prevx to install ?

Can you follow this specific sequence:

Run the removal tool from http://info.prevx.com/download.asp?grab=csiuninstalltool

Then reboot your PC

Then install the newest version from http://info.prevx.com/downloadcsi.asp

- if it still doesn't install properly, try uninstalling again now by running:

"c:\program files\prevx\prevx.exe" /prop UNINSTALL=AUTO

and then reboot and install again.

Let me know if you're still experiencing any problems and I'll investigate further!

I ran the removal tool and the output said service doesnt exist etc and then ended.
I rebooted and ran the lastest prevx installer and same error as before.

running "c:\program files\prevx\prevx.exe" /prop UNINSTALL=AUTO didnt work.
the prevx folder is empty.

Do a search for anything that has Prevx files and folders and manually delete them if there are any! But I think PrevxHelp will ask you for a remote session to solve your installation problem so find a good time and PM him the time! Also do you remember the last version you had installed?

I don't think the force uninstall exe works fully with the latest versions of prevx 3.0. I always uninstall through windows and then run the force uninstall exe to do a final tidy up.

You may be able to install over the top of any "rubbish left behind by booting into safe mode.

Could you try removing the contents of the registry key: HKLM\Software\PCSI\

That should allow you to install fresh!

unfortunately my license has expired.
I will look in to renewel later.
