I'll have to opt out of the specific question -- my personal choice is simply to head for the Environment Canada site (I've got a favorite saved for my local area), which is usually quite up to date.

I like and use them both (on different PC's). Weather Pulse has a nicer GUI, but they both get their info from the same source. I haven't compared the apps for resource use (since I'm running them on XP I don't check very often compared to when I use W98) but I'd suspect Weather Watcher would use fewer resources based on its more minmal GUI.

Thanks sig. I'm running xp also and don't check for resources that much. I just want a basic weather monitor.

Weather Pulse has a very fast new version out. They finally got it right!

Weather Pulse know has skin support. Tropic is doing a great job on this program.

seriously though? The weather extension for firefox was amazing.
