Opera 10.52 is officially released - The Fastest Browser on Earth

Your wait is over....This is the final version release for Windows and Mac that many have been anticipating with many bug-fixes, stability and security fixes.

It is what Opera version 10.5 release should have been when it was first released and is a strongly recommended update due to the security fixes.;D

so the final is 3370? i installed over top of the rc5 and it says version 3370?? 3370 was the same as rc5??

The last alpha works quite good here, no crashes at all so give it a spin.

I think I'll pass until Opera themselves, at least, report no known issues for the Linux version. 10.50 final for Windows was... iffy at best, and if Opera thinks that's what a final should look like I'd rather not bother with alphas just yet.

Downloading the Windows version, will give it a whirl in Win7 later.

That's correct, RC5=Build 3370=Opera10.52Final.;D

It's expected as we've test RC5 which is as good as it can get to being 10.52 final version.8)

Have lot of problems with this version, 10.51 was better. In this version i have problems with program stability, when i have opened a 3-5 tabs ( one with youtube and one with wykop.pl( lots of comments in this site) ) the Opera can slow down my pc, and i have lot of freezes. In 10.51 i dont have problems like that. I like Opera, but this freezes are iritating.

is really fast...but when i clean disk in your uninstaller program i found thousands of opera .tmp files..wonder why.
i only surfedd 20 minutes.
hope one day they only release the browser without mail,etc.

If you don't enable mail, browser runs without that component enabled. As for you temp files, thats quite surprising, it could be left over from your previous Opera installations.

That's weird, Opera 10.52 is working very well here with no freezes at all.;D

I get that too a specially at night I just put it down to my ISP geting congested and routing problems. I think it is something about Opera It just doesn't seem it get along with my ISP at times. All traffic goes through Level 3 and it is always overbooked, I found out abought Level three when I was with the ISP Earthlink and I was on Dialup at the time. Everthing went great with Opera before Level 3 came into the picture :dry:

Try reducing the number of networking connections Opera makes by default, older Opera was limited to 8 and 32, newer one goes to 16 and 64 by default.

Haven't used opera since v8.xx, got almost all configured however cant figure out how to change tab behavior when opening bookmarks from the bookmarks menu.

In FF, middle click opens the bookmark in a new tab, in Opera Shift+click opens it in a new tab but I want to change that to something which doesn't require keyboard input (or me opening a new tab manually and then opening the bookmark), and without changing the behavior with page links and personal bar bookmarks... Any help appreciated :P

Check it out under Tools -- Preferences --Advanced -- Shortcuts -- Middle-Click Options or do a shift-center click and you should be able to configure it.? ::)

That applies to links within pages, not bookmarks. :)

Looks like there is some kind of problem with Opera 10.52 final. We might see the the new build soon:( do you guys have any information??? ..i am just confused i guess....
