It's been months now that this thing has been down. I'm wondering how long exactly it'll take for this "new and improved" version? Personally I thought the old one was great. The best part about it... you could actually use it. Why not at least keep that one up until the new one is ready?
Visitors are encouraged to try their products in the meantime while they wait. That doesn't convey to me that they're in any hurry to get the online scanner up and running again.

Not sure what's going on with it, but I recommend you use Kaspersky's VirusRemoval Tool (http://devbuilds.kaspersky-labs.com/devbuilds/AVPTool/) instead. It has better detection capabilities than the old online version (uses v2010 heuristics and can find rootkits) and can also remove malware.

or activate a trial version of Kaspersky SOS (http://www.kaspersky.com/productupdates?chapter=207716558) (this a corporate product that has no real-time scanner)
