Although he hasn't directly said so he has hinted that after he releases this version he is going to start to work on a 64 bit version. Ilya is a pretty smart lad so I don't imagine he is lost on 64 bit becoming the wave of the future.

I think the feature asking whether a download should be trusted or not is great. Those with children, or someone on the pc who you don't trust to make the right decision, should uncheck this.

This will make sure all downloads are run as untrusted. :thumb:

Apologies if this already exists, or sounds obvious, but Ilya might setup an option to 'Automatically run downloads as untrusted (no prompts)'. This could be displayed under 'Automatically run applications from removable drives as untrusted'.

Great option for kids using a pc. People can do the option I described above, but no harm having it in two places as most people have 'novices/kids' using their pc.

I am looking forward to the days in the near future when we start getting poc's again to test 64bit security software. will be very interesting to see how much patch guard has really hindered HIPS software. All vendors are in the same boat having to work around patch guard.

It is already exists. Uncheck "Running files from Download Areas" and that's it.

Untrusted processes have made possible dangerous actions that have been blocked.

If you look in the help file, under Notifications, then Tray Icon, you can see a list of icons and their meanings :)

Well, perhaps the reason would be that he doesn't want to produce a crippled x64 version plus he hasn't got the Symantec muscles/$$$$$ to make M$ provide the required APIs for DW to work on x64 w/ same features like on x86? ;)

yes he doesn't , ilya already comment about that issue , he want to keep DW at top quality and depending on PG will dramatically decrees DW protection
