Some questions on Returnil and ShadowDefender

I was wanting to download the free Returnil offer but I have a couple questions if anybody can help.

I have ShadowDefender installed now and was wondering what the differences were with respect to Returnil. I don't want a vs. thread, just I'm confused because it seems that both programs do the same thing?

So, I don't want to know which one is "better" or anything, just the differences in what each program does. Is there things that Returnil would do that are not available to ShadowDefender?
