Looking for a reliable free PDF to Word Converter

I'm have trouble converting a PDF to Word. I've tried Freefileconvert.com and Zamzar and the file comes back supposedly converted but when I open it the text is scarambled and appears encrypted. When I check the PDF file properties it doesn't seem to be encrypted though, everything is allowed. It's a PDF 1.3.

I know this is an area that's frought with difficulty but I thought I would ask and see if anyone might know of a free PDF converter that's at least "mostly" reliable. ;D

Hey thanks a million for that mvario.

I read the reviews then tried one of the online ones...no good. Then I tried Nuance and bingo, it worked. It must have been an optical scan thing since Nuance is the only one capable of handling that.

Glad to know there's one that works. :D
