But what goes wrong today? Even we have not been informed about this downtime? Is it a scheduled downtime or somebody DDos Wilders?

Yes, we're finally back!

Our hosting company (Applicationx) reported that it was a circuit outage at their upstream provider. Essentially, the company that connects them to the Internet had a serious network failure which brought down all their customers - including us.

We were offline for 12 hours and 40 minutes, starting March 7 at 20:26:26 GMT-5 ending March 8 at 09:07:11.

But now its something else we have got to know...Thanks.

We are UP now..

Glad to see Wilders Security up and running. Thought it might be a DDOS attack. I remember CastleCops was hit fairly often.

Because of this I had to join a 12 step program.

What a fitting name for a hosting company used by a security forum!
And what an ironic thing for them to say in their advertisement... ;)

@stapp

Thanks, must have been a short blip ?

Maybe not long enough for the NSA etc to connect their new fast bidirectional interactive streaming spy pipes, like err 12 hours ;D

Removed a couple of Off Topic posts. Since Wilders has been running without incident, for the past 3 days, let bid adieu to this thread. Thanks!
