I just got off of the phone with a friend of mine. Talking with him it sounds like that he got infected with this or a similar rouge a couple of days ago. He has been using MSE, and I think the rouge confused him and he may have uninstalled MSE. He is going to drop it off at my house tomorrow.
For a rouge like this, what would you use first? A rescue cd like Dr. Web and/or Avira. Or try Malwarebytes first?

My friends pc is used by the whole family. He and his wife use an admin account and his two kids LUA. He said his son gets on it late at night (probably porn surfing) and when he booted it up this morning it had the rouge. You think his son somehow logged into an admin account and it got infected or can a rouge like this install on a LUA (XP)?
