Hi All,
I have downloaded and installed Moosoft The Cleaner 2010 some days ago

Even if NOD32 v 4 warned me it was trying to install a PE heuristic potentially unknown malware, I whitelisted it since Moosoft The Cleaner is a well known antimalware.
Some minutes ago I ran a ful system scan with ESET NOD 32 fully up to date and The Cleaner setup file is also detected as PE Heuristic potentially unknown malware.

I'm sorry I cannot upload The Cleaner setup file to virustotal since it is over 27 MB size, however neither a-squared free nor MalwareBytes' AntiMalware detected The Cleaner as a threat.

I'm pretty sure it is a false positive

Cheers

if you have a valid license for upgrades you should use the latest 2011 (actual build 3403)

Hello,

ESET treats reports of false positive alarms as a high priority. Glad to be of assistance.
