Hi Acadia - most interesting article. Thanks for sharing. I posted some very interesting stuff in the Viruses & Worms thread ... give it a peek. What prompted my post was that someone thought they received a viral email from me [no I did not send it nor was my computer infected] and it explains how it can be done - it is getting pretty nasty out there in cyberspace. >:(

Yeah, here's another one that I read just today in the latest issue of Kiplingers:
"SCAM ALERT: Don’t sign up for the "National Do Not E-mail Registry". It’s a bogus Web site that mimics the National Do Not Call Registry site, a legitimate program sponsored by the federal government. The Federal Trade Commission warns that the deceptive site is being used to collect personal data for spammers and identity thieves."
