Dear users,
Anybody know how to exclude my drive "D" from being scanned with GDATA 2010 Internet Security Suite.
The instructions in "help" make no sense and I've tried everything I can think of with no success.
Please help, GDATA doesn't answer my emails.

Hi Arturo,

there is no direct option to exclude certain drives or directories from system scan.

Workaround: define a new scanjob in the schedule area - here you can define analysis scope. Uncheck drive d in the tree view.

This new job you can start manually whenever you want.

Ford

Dear Sir,
Thank you very much I was going nuts. The program looks awesome but I needed the exclusions. Defining the scope does the trick.

Thank you for your advice on excluding a drive from a scan.
Maybe you can help me with the "monitor"feature and excluding a drive or directory.
The help files are confusing, they initially state as (exceptions) to choose a drive or directory you want to exclude ( and then it says to choose the drive or directory you want to protect.
I don't understand this.
If I don't want to monitor drive "D" what do I do.
