I suppose this had to happen sooner or later. We've all heard the one about the infinite number of monkeys at an infinite number of typewriters, right?

And we've probably all seen the relatively new phenomenon in spam, sometimes even viruses, where the "subject" is a random and probably unrelated series of words, attempting to foil the "lazier" spam-blockers which check not much more than the subject line. Right again?

This morning the two finally met, or at least the first time that I've seen. While clearing out the overnight accumulation at my ISP's SpamGuard quarantine, I found one where the subject was "inequality masonry pistol".

OMG, the images and possibilities that that one raised in my mind. 8) Some new kind of sport, sort of a "handicap" in paint-ball tournaments? ;)

I wonder how Monty Python and crew missed this one. ;D ;D

Hi Flux - if you mean you'd like a copy, sorry, I dumped that one along with all the rest while I was there. Sure couldn't resist making a note of that subject line, though. ;)

Yeah, my work box usually has about 20 to 30 junk mails with very interesting word combinations lately. Thank God the home 'puter is protected from this stuff. They're so interesting that I've started reading each subject line just for entertainment before I delete 'em. Some, such as Mike's, are pretty entertaining. Are these just randomly generated or what?

Alot of them tempt you to open them so the nasties can get out. Ingenious way to spread viruses and such to the unsuspecting. ;D
