Hi,

I made use of the great Softpedia offer to get a free one year of Returnil Lux. I received the email with the license in it. Put my name, email address and license number in the box and from then on nothing happened. I still see Free instead of commercial and that the request for the licensing thing is pending.

It said that it would take minutes. But how long is it really? I have tried it now three times with no success.

For me it took just a few minutes.
Then I had to confirm my email address - notice: fully activated.

that's it

It took me about three quarters, but it's done. Instead of 12 I know have ten months.... what's up?

Hi Edwin024,
Please shoot me a PM with:

1. Installation ID (preferences > Advanced TAB)
2. License Number

Thanks
Mike

I tried to register my Softpedia version with no luck. The first time it just stayed pending for a couple of days. I tried again, twice, and each time got a message that the registration was invalid. I tried a third time and its stuck at pending again.

Anyone have any ideas?

NOTE: Went into registration e-mail I received from Returnil and clicked on the registration link again. Received another e-mail with a registration key. I tried it but I still get a "License is invalid" message when I attempt to register. I am doing this in a VMWare virtual environment but I doubt that should make any difference.

Mine (Softpedia) won't activate successfully either on 7 Home Premium.
Get the (Request pending) thing.

EDIT: Nevermind, finally worked. Thanks.

Hi chinook9 and welcome to the forums :)

Try the following and let me know if it works:

1. register your copy as a free version (select "Free", enter your name and e-mail address, and then click register)
2. Wait for the license assigned message for Home Free
3. Upgrade your registration (select "commercial" this time) using the License number from your softpedia letter

Does this resolve the issue and result in your copy registering as Home Lux?
