I guess the Dutch version is a bit later... No update yet, says Firefox when I control if there is a new version.

@ the OP: might be, but the latest nightly of 3.56 is dated from dec 2 ... and 3.55 is still offered on the main site,so still waiting for something more official here ;)

and anyway just checked the OP's link leads to:
ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/3.5.6/win32/en-US/
which is also dated dec 2 so the same as:
http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/3.5.6-candidates/build3/

guess MD5 should match too ;)

these 64 bit builds are not from Mozilla; yeah, it's OpenSource so why not if it runs well...same in Linux, Mozilla 64 bit builds found in repos are not from Mozilla. Be aware you'll need a 64 bit flash player plugin, and as far as I know there's only one for Linux (from Adobe labs, at alpha stage for ages, but works well).

korben, so you know, I removed the direct link in your post above, providing the respective program download page. You did correctly in your post #7.

It's always best to give visitors the chance to see what they are about to download before they click. Sometimes people don't read, they click on a link and are startled when something tries to download. Keep that in mind for the future. Thanks!

JR

Installed yesterday only to see a notice: you're using alpha, what the heck with x64? is it stable as the usual mozilla release or not or what?
