As a long time Google user, I like bing better. If nothing else the home page is more entertaining. I've been getting good search results as well. :)

Perhaps. On the other hand, it's easy to protect one's privacy even if you use Google.
In Firefox I block all cookies by default and allow them only for specific sites with my cookie manager (I'm using the FF extension Cookie Monster). Google isn't one of them ;)
BTW: A nice alternative would be using Scroogle but it lacks some functionalities of Google.

It's the same for me.I've been using them both and it's nice to have alternative.
Not worry about privacy at all.
