Hi!

As I cannot continue a previous thread (http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=237651) any more, I'm starting this one with the same title.

I'd like to report that the problem I explained in the thread was solved after installing NOD32 AV 4.0.474 on both the Windows Server 2003 SP2 and the Windows XP Pro. SP3 clients.

The server that shares files has real time file scanning enabled. The clients have scanning of network drives enabled. When clients open files shared on the server, a noticeable delay is not experienced any more.

Well done, ESET!
